Hope McDonald is a staff midwife at Wellspring Midwifery Care & Birth Center. She completed her apprenticeship at Wellspring and became both a Licensed Midwife in Texas and a NARM Certified Professional Midwife in the spring of 2024. 

Hope started her career as a licensed cosmetologist, working in Sport Clips. She quickly realized that was not what she wanted to do her whole life, and she decided to study midwifery with the Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery Training Program, where Ashley Musil is an instructor and Education Chair. Hope stood out an an excellent student and a young woman who is wise beyond her years. She is expecting her first baby in early 2025 and plans to give birth at none other than Wellspring Birth Center! 

She and her fiance, an auto mechanic, live in the Conroe area and are excited to be expanding their family and serving their community.
